DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – HALF DAY CITY TOUR
Upon you arrival in Hanoi, meet our private driver then transfer to hotel for checkin and take a rest.
14.00-14.15: Our guide pick you up to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 centuries
15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the Hanoi Hilton
16.15 -16.30: Tour finishes. Back to hotel
DAY 2: HANOI – NINH BINH – HOA LU – TAM COC
7h00-7h50: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for transfer to Ninh Binh.
9h15: Stops on the way for a 15 – 20 minutes short break for you to stretch your legs, use the facilities, or have a quick snack.
10h30: Visiting Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from years 968 to 1010. Then you will visit the Temple of Dinh King and Le King and learn more about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
11h15 – 11h45: It’s time to join our 30 minutes cycling activity to discover the life of the local people. Or stay behind and either relax in the restaurant for sightseeing and capture the views around lake, and valleys. Enjoy swimming at pool on summer time.
12h00: It is time for a buffet lunch to enjoy local specialties in the private area of our Trang An Eco Holiday Retreat. The vegetarian option is also available.
13h15-13h30:
Option 1 : Tam Coc, known as “Halong Bay on the land”, where you will spend 1.5 hours on the boat to explore this area. On this excursion down the Ngo Dong River, you will pass through the beautiful paddy fields, limestone karst formation, and a stunning cave system including Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba caves for a unique experience.
Option 2 : Trang An, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 2014. There, you can spend 1.5 hours on the boat ride to enjoy the beauty of this place, which owns a beautiful tunnel cave system and appears in the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”.
16h00-16h30: Transfer back to Hanoi.
18h30-19h00: Drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
DAY 3: HANOI – HALONG – OVERNIGHT CRUISE
8.30 AM Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and begin your journey to Halong Bay.
This journey will take you through the Red River Delta where you can see the everyday life of the Vietnamese Villagers.
Upon arriving at Halong, board a traditional sailing junk and get greeted by the crew members.
Discover some of the treasures disseminated across the Bay of the Descending Dragon during the afternoon: fascinating caves, pristine beaches, picturesque floating villages, and fantastic rock formations rising up out of emerald water.
After having a delicious lunch on board, spend the rest of the time at leisure, wherein you can choose to attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking.
Spend the rest of the evening on the sundeck of your cruise and admire the colors of the sunset painting the sky.
Later, have your dinner accompanied by a wide selection of wines and beverages (additional cost for drinks) along with various entertainment options like – movie night, squid fishing, etc.
You can also choose to enjoy your drink by sitting relaxedly surrounded by limestone rocks majestically springing out from silent waters in the night.
Overnight stay on the cruise at Halong Bay.
DAY 4: HALONG - HANOI
Start your day with breakfast between 7:00 and 7:45 AM, savoring the morning view of Halong Bay’s breathtaking landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. At 8:00 AM, immerse yourself in the stunning scenery of the bay and its dramatic limestone islets. Visit the famous Frog Pond, where you can freely kayak, explore the picturesque surroundings, or take a refreshing swim in the serene waters.
By 9:15 AM, return to your cabin to relax and ensure all your luggage is ready for departure. At 9:30 AM, check out from your private cabin and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay while room service attends to your needs. Complete the check-out procedure and relish your last meal on the cruise, soaking in the majestic views one last time.
At 11:30 AM, the cruise will dock at Tuan Chau Harbor. Bid farewell to the crew and disembark, marking the end of your memorable cruise. Between 12:00 and 12:30 PM, board the bus for your return journey to Hanoi. Enjoy the scenic drive back, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of the day. Arrive in Hanoi between 3:00 and 3:30 PM, concluding a perfect day of adventure and relaxation in Halong Bay.
DAY 5: HANOI - DEPARTURE
Today is your departure day, relax at hotel until your flight time coming. Our driver will be waiting at your hotel and will transfer you to the airport approximately 2 hours before your scheduled flight time.
